Toronto Zoo Silver Dual Family Membership

Our 2026 Toronto Zoo membership review finds Silver is the strongest default tier for two adults with children—and a practical buy when two peak-season visits are realistic.

The short answer

For most families, Silver is already enough.

The $225.66 Silver Dual Family Membership covers two named adults and up to four children for 365 days. Add the $60 annual parking pass and the package is $285.66 before HST—less than two peak visits for two adults and two children in our published-rate model.

PASS.ca recommendation

Buy Silver if two visits are genuinely likely. Upgrade to Gold only when your family will use Zoomobile rides and the two guest admissions; Platinum needs a recurring unnamed guest to justify it.

Family math

The second peak visit is where the decision turns.

Silver + annual parking$285.66

Membership $225.66 + parking $60

Two peak family days$348

2 × ($154 admission + $20 parking)

The model uses two adults at $45 each and two children at $32 each, plus $20 parking, for a $174 peak day before HST. Two such visits cost $348—$62.34 more than Silver with annual parking.

Without a car, the result is similar: two peak admission days total $308, still above the $225.66 membership. The annual parking pass itself breaks even on the third drive at the published $20 daily rate.

Toronto Zoo uses plan-ahead pricing, so the actual checkout price changes by date. This comparison uses the Zoo’s published 2026 peak regular-rate reference, not a promise that every day ticket costs $45 or $32. All figures exclude applicable HST.

Pay more only for benefits you can name.

01

Silver Dual Family · $225.66

Best default. It includes 365-day unlimited admission, 10% food and gift-shop discounts, program savings, reciprocal-zoo discounts and member events.

02

Gold Dual Family · $292.04

Gold costs $66.38 more and adds unlimited Zoomobile access, subject to availability, plus two one-time guest admissions. Choose it only if those benefits will actually be used.

03

Platinum Dual Family · $371.68

Platinum adds one unnamed guest on each visit. At $146.02 above Silver, it is a specialist choice for families that regularly bring another person.

Before you buy

Three rules are worth remembering.

01

The membership is tied to named adults

It is non-transferable and non-refundable. Adult members need photo ID at entry or a photo attached to the digital membership card.

02

The clock starts when you buy

A new membership is valid for 365 days from purchase—not from the first visit. New annual parking also begins on the purchase date.

03

A day visit can become a membership

Eligible admission fees can be applied to a membership within 14 days. One daily parking payment can also be applied toward annual parking, with the relevant receipts.
