What this policy covers
This policy explains how PASS.ca handles information when you visit pass.ca or contact us. PASS.ca is an independent Canadian pass-comparison publisher based in Toronto.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and referral source. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may process technical identifiers such as an IP address according to Google’s own terms and privacy practices.
We use this information to improve PASS.ca content and site performance, not to sell personal profiles. You can limit analytics cookies through your browser settings or compatible browser privacy tools.
We may measure actions such as filter selections, research-card clicks and outbound partner links. For the library search, we record only the query length and number of results—not the words you type.
Messages you send
If you email hello@pass.ca or partnerships@pass.ca, we receive the information in your message, your email address and any files you choose to attach. We use it to respond, evaluate research requests, manage partnerships and maintain an appropriate business record.
Please do not send sensitive personal information. PASS.ca does not currently ask visitors to create an account or submit payment information.
Affiliate links
Some PASS.ca pages contain paid links to Amazon.ca and Viator. If you follow one, the relevant provider may receive referral information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy practices. PASS.ca may earn a commission from qualifying purchases or eligible completed bookings.
Affiliate commissions do not influence PASS Scores or recommendations. PASS.ca does not receive your provider password, complete payment details or full order information through these links.
Service providers and retention
We use service providers for website hosting, analytics and business email. They may process information on our behalf under their own terms. We keep messages and related records only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose they were collected, legal obligations and basic business continuity.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct or delete personal information you sent to us, subject to legal or legitimate recordkeeping requirements. Email hello@pass.ca with “Privacy request” in the subject line.
Updates and contact
We may update this policy as PASS.ca adds features or providers. The effective date above will change when the policy is revised. Questions can be sent to hello@pass.ca.
